Conditions of Entry

 
  • * For insurance purposes riders must either be members of EWA or Southside Jump Club Inc. 
  • * Horses are restricted to 2 competition starts per day. 
  • * Jump levy already included. 
  • * Paramedic levy $10 per rider.  
  • * Ground fee $12.50 per horse. 
  • * Southside members receive $5 discount per class - this is automatically taken off your entry. Ensure your membership is processed well before your entries are done or you will not get your discount. 
  • * Horses must be registered for all classes - cards may be requested. 
  • * Rounds will be run under EA and FEI rules where appropriate.  
  • * Helper Deposit $40 per rider per day – please provide a helper name. Helper deposits not collected by the end of the day will be forfeited. 
  • * Horses may only be entered in one section of a class ie. a or b. 
 
  • * The Junior Jumper is for riders 18yrs and under. 
  • * Combined Horse Transport Voucher for 1st place in Gold class – RETURN transport of one horse Perth – Eastern States (depot to depot) – does not include liver fluke or agistment. Valued at $3212. 
  • * Gold Class – Article 273 – at least 25% will progress to 2nd round; 2nd round will be against the clock in reverse order of penalties in 1st round; placings according to total penalties across both rounds, and time in the 2nd round.  
  • * Horses shall compete in only one of the Gold, Silver or Bronze classes. 
  • * Mounted presentations for ALL classes – no horse no prize. 
  • * Riders and spectators are reminded that stallions must be identified with EA stallion ID disks (Green) on bridle/halter or saddle blanket at all times. Trucks/floats will also be marked with green disks. 
  • * Please remember to clean up your area around your float/truck and fill in holes before you leave. Chaff bags will be available. 
  • * Prizes/Prizemoney/Ribbons to 5th place. 
  • * Entries via Global – Credit card payment only. 
  • * Dogs must be kept on leads. 
  • * Dress – Light coloured breeches or jodhpurs, riding jackets, dress shirt with tie or ratcatcher must be worn for all classes. Riders must be neatly presented at all times.  
  • * Withdrawal Policy –  
    • * Withdrawals prior to entries close - refunded minus $5 for Global fees.  
    • * Withdrawals after entries close – no refund.  
    • * Withdrawals with Vet or Doctor Certificate after entries close but before event (certificate within 7 days) – refunded minus $10. 
  • * Cash prizemoney not collected within 2 weeks of event, and cheques not banked within 90 days will be forfeited to the club. 
  • * Organisers reserve the right to change the program. 
  • * Serpentine Horse and Pony Club will be providing a canteen.
