World Cup Show

 

Regulations

 

1.        All riders and owners must be members of the Equestrian Federation of Australia.

2.        All horses nominated must hold current registration and grading papers from the Equestrian Federation of Australia.

3.        Grading is in accordance with the National Grading System.

4.        Substitution of a nominated horse or rider may only take place within that nominated event and must be notified prior to the commencement of that event.

5.        There will be no refund of entry fees unless scratching is notified to the Secretary’s Office prior to the commencement of that event and accompanied by a veterinary certificate.  An administration charge of 20% will be made.

6.        LIABILITY. Neither the committee nor the venue owner nor any of the staff or agents shall be in any way liable for any accident injury damage loss or for any matter that may happen from any cause or circumstance whatsoever, to exhibitors competitors or members or their agents or to anyone on the grounds or to any animal exhibited or property brought on to the grounds for any loss claim matter circumstance or event whatsoever in conjunction with or arising out of or attributable to the Festival or any journey to or from the event.  It is also understood that in no circumstances shall the committee it’s agents or employees be liable for any loss damages claims or costs occasioned or suffered by any exhibitor, competitor members directly howsoever arising, including without limitation losses damages claims or costs as a result of any negligence, and you agree to indemnify and save harmless to the committee the venue owner or lessees, their agents employees from and against any liability out of such loss, damage claims or costs.

7.        Any protest must be made in writing and within 20 minutes of the event and accompanied by $50 non refundable unless protest is upheld.

8.        The Committee reserves the right to refuse entries.

9.        Entries will not be considered accepted until all monies are cleared.

10.     Entries submitted electronically will not be accepted until entry fees have been deposited in the nominated bank account.

11.     The Committee reserves the right to swab horses.

12.     The Committee reserves the right at their discretion to alter or amend any of the above conditions and to modify the program or cancel the event.

13.     Dogs must be on leads and secured at all times. No dogs are allowed in practice or competition arenas.

14.     No Yards are to be erected around power outlets, or interfere with power leads to these outlets.

15.     The two practice arenas situated next to each competition arena are to be used only by horses competing in that class being conducted; the other working arena has been allocated for horses to be worked out of competition time.

16.     Competitors in Ring 2 (sand arena) will not be required to jump in draw order in the first round unless the event is a one round class (283.2.1)

17.     Submission of an entry signifies acceptance of these regulations.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:-

 

Stabling & Yards – No Temporary tape yards are to be built during the duration of the show.  Stabling provided by Southern Cross Stockfeeds, preference given to World Cup horses.

            No Camping along the entrance drive or around arenas, this area is allocated for public car parking and day parking only.

            If you wish to have your stable/yard allocation with another competitor, please send an e-mail to kilwarran@bigpond.com

 

Bedding – should you require bedding, shavings are available for purchase, please order and pay online with entry.  Cameron from Tatura Shavings has indicated that 1 Bulka Bag should provide enough bedding for 2-3 stables/yards.  Please put all manure & bedding in bunkers provided.  Additional bedding can be purchased at event.  Straw and other bedding to be provided by competitors.

Friday night Calcutta - World Cup Calcutta, in Marquee. BYO

 

Saturday night dinner – A Spit Roast dinner will be provided on Saturday night after the World Cup Class, come and celebrate at a cost of $23 per person for a 2 course cooked meal, and entertainment.  $15 for Children under 15.

 

Special Prizes – Best Presented Combination from the World Cup Trot up, Prize to be awarded to the Groom, to be announced at the conclusion of the World Cup

Grass Arena to run to draw order, NO EXCEPTIONS; Sand Arena will have a Draw provided, please ride as close as possible to the published draw order.

 

 

Camping Fee - $60 for NON MEMBERS per vehicle, all camping is behind the new fence, no camping along the drive.  A Generator will be provided in addition to exsisting powered sites.

No portable/temporary yards are to be built around or near the powered sites

Yards: $40 Exsisting "Polo Yards"; $50 Portable Yards provied by Southern Cross. 

Stables: $135 Provided by Southern Cross

Please note that yards and Stables are booked as you would enter a class.

 

All entry monies must be paid prior to commencement of show, preferred payment by PayPal or Direct Debit.  NO MONEY, NO RIDE, NO EXCEPTIONS

 

ALL DOGS MUST EITHER BE ON A LEASH OR TIED TO A TRUCK AT ALL TIMES
