2013 WA STATE SHOWJUMPING CHAMPIONSHIPS INFORMATION & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY. ENTRIES ONLINE BY CREDIT CARD ONLY at www.globalentriesonline.com. ENTRIES CLOSE ON MONDAY, 21 OCTOBER 2013 at 9pm EST. DRAWS AVAILABLE by Thursday, 24 October 2013 on www.globalentriesonline.com.au and www.swan riversjc.com.au SATURDAY CLASSES all start at 8/00 AM; COURSE WALK AT 7.30AM; ON SUNDAY, ARENA 1 classes start at 9.00am, Course walk at 8.30am; ARENA 2 classes start at 8.30AM; Course walk at 8.00AM. NON-REFUNDABLE $15 HELPER’S FEE & $10 FIRST AID LEVY per rider. DRAW ORDER: Riders must compete in the order of the draw, unless otherwise arranged with the judge or event official. Riders not at the entry gate for a class once their name is called risk elimination from that class. CLASSES: The same horse can only compete in one class at each height level; i.e., horses in Class 2A can't enter 2B, etc, per class restrictions on the programme. ONLY TWO CLASSES PER DAY PER HORSE in any arena. -- PATERSONS 2013 WA SHOWJUMPING CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS: A minimum of 25% of horses from Round 1 will participate in Round 2. Penalties in Round 1 will be carried into and determine the draw order in Round 2 (reverse penalties). Horses participating in a jump off round will be placed on penalties and time in that round; all others will be placed on aggregate penalties over both rounds and time from Round 1. AMATEUR RIDERS: Riders 21 years and over who have never competed in an Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games in jumping or eventing, a 4* 3-day event or a World Cup event for jumping. They must not have competed in Section 1 or 2 classes at a Royal Show in Australia in the past two years. Any rider or horse competing at 1.20m or higher at the same show cannot enter an 'Amateur' class. Riders may compete as an amateur from the year they turn 21. Riders must be EWA members and the horse/s officially registered. YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES QUALIFIERS Riders born between 01-01/1996-31/12/1997.International Certificates of Competency (COC) will be gained by riders with 8 or less penalties in the first round of Qualifier 1 or 2 (273.3.3). Clear rounds or 25% of competitors from the first round will compete in the second. Riders with COCs become eligible for possible 2014 YOG selection. One horse per rider can be intended for COC; the name must be declared to the organizer prior to the start of competition. YOUNG RIDERS Riders from the year they turn 16 through the year they turn 21. JUNIOR RIDERS Riders from the year they turn 12 through the year they turn 18. COMPETITION ATTIRE: Proper attire including jackets, shirts with buttoned collars, stocks or rat-catchers and white or beige jodhpurs/breeches. When riders are allowed to ride without jackets, their shirts must have short or long sleeves. PRESENTATIONS: Riders MUST appear for MOUNTED presentations & be in competition attire to receive their prize money to receive their awards and placings. STALLIONS: should be securely yarded and display green discs on both sides of saddlecloths or bridles. When tied at trucks, they should be supervised at all times. PROGRAMME: The organizers reserve the right to change the classes and/or programme without prior notice. COMPETITOR PROFILES must be completed by every competitor and emailed to Suzanne McGill at suz.mcgill@hotmail.com by Monday, 21 October. ELIGIBILITY: EWA members and PCAWA members (in pony club uniform) can ride at this show. Horses competing 1.05m & above in official classes with points must have CURRENT PERFORMANCE CARDS. Performance cards must be available to present to collect prize money. RUBBISH: All manure, hay and rubbish must be cleaned up around floats, trucks and yards before leaving the grounds. It is not the responsibility of the event organisers or venue to clean up what's left behind by individual participants.
