Classes 1b, 2b, 3b, 4b & 5b are open to Ponies
148 cms or under (without shoes) - 14.2 1/4hh or under (without shoes)
RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

This event is unofficial EA showjumping and will be run under EA and FEI rules and guidelines where applicable. The onus is on the competitor to know the rules.

Riders must be at least Associate members of EA or a member of the ASPR Inc.

If rider is not a member of EA or the ASPR, a Competition Membership ($25) must be taken out.

Entry to this event acknowledges acceptance of the terms and conditions of entry.

Each and every rider must wear an approved standard helmet at all times whilst mounted. Helmets must comply with standards AS/NZ3838, EN1384, ASTNF1163.

Horses/Ponies do not have to be EA or ASPR registered.

Ponies must NOT exceed 148cms without shoes.

Stallions are welcome to compete at this event. EA Stallion Code of Conduct is applicable.

Scratchings and Refunds: Entry fees will not be refunded after the closing date of entries unless a medical or veterinary certificate is received by Friday 17th August. In such cases, 30% of the entry fees will be retained by the O.C. Entry fees will be refunded in full for scratchings before the closing date of entries.

Presentations will be held following each class. High Point and Special Awards will be announced following the final class.

Catering Facilities will be available on the grounds.

Draw. Classes are limited to a maximum of thirty (30) entries. Reserve lists will be compiled and a ‘move-up’ system will apply in the case of scratchings. It is the competitor’s responsibility to confirm/check their start times the day before the competition.

Horses/Ponies must be at least 4 y.o. to compete at this event.

Horses/Ponies may compete in a maximum of three (3) consecutive heights.

AM7 - Article 238 1.2 - If achieving a clear round (not against the clock), the bell will ring and the rider will immediately proceed into the jump-off course, against the clock. Riders must walk the jump-off course at the same time as the first round course.

AM5 - Article 238 2.2 - A competition not against the clock in the first round. If rider has a clear round, they will be called back for a jump-off after every rider has completed the first round.
MEASURING
Where a complaint is lodged with the OC about the height of a horse/pony and a measurement certificate cannot be produced to verify the height, the OC may measure the horse/pony on the day. The height of the horse/pony will stand as the measurement for the duration of the competition.
CONDITIONS FOR HIGH POINT AWARDS
Points awarded for placings as follows :
- 1st = 6 pts, 2nd = 5 pts, 3rd = 4 pts, 4th = 3 pts,
