Jamie Coman Show Jumping Clinic – Important Information for Participants

The Northern Victorian Showjumping Club is delighted to have secured clinics this winter with Australian Olympian Jamie Coman.

Jamie has enjoyed an outstanding career in showjumping, noting his role on the Australian Showjumping Team at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He is an EA Level 3 Showjumping Coach, and together with his wife Sue, operates Goodspell Park Equine Services, where they continue to develop riders and horses at all levels.

We are very fortunate to welcome Jamie to our Club for this clinic.

To enter the Jamie Coman Clinic, riders need to be current NVSJC members and both horse and rider must hold an appropriate EA membership. Class order may be adjusted from what is listed on Global to ensure the timetable runs smoothly and efficiently. You will receive an email with your times the week leading up to the clinic.

If entries fill quickly on Global, please contact us. We may be able to shuffle heights or add extra groups at the same height.

Members may enter up to two horses each, with the possibility of additional horses if numbers allow. Please be prepared to assist with course changes and rails when you are not in a lesson.

We ask that all riders arrive early and ready to go for their allocated lesson time. Jamie’s schedule is tight, and late arrivals may be asked to sit out. As this is a group lesson, please be patient and supportive; everyone is here to learn.

Camping and yards are available to those wishing to stay for the weekend. Please tick and pay the appropriate fees on entry. All yards must be cleaned and chains replaced before leaving. Bins to be returned to the entry of the parking area.

OTT Subsidy - NVSJC is proudly partnering with Racing Victoria's Off The Track Program to offer a $60 subsidy for OTT horses entering our winter clinics. If you have claimed your OTT horses through the Racing Victoria OTT Community Platform then you can apply for this subsidy through entering on Global. When entering, you must include all OTT horses microchip numbers and racing names. Select your relevant classes, enter details and checkbox then move to the payment page where you will see camping charges and the OTT subsidy checkbox to receive the $60 OTT subsidy discount per horse.

Finally, please remember to follow the NVSJC Code of Conduct at all times when attending Club events.

We look forward to seeing you all at our Winter Clinic!
