Ready, set, XC! After the success and amazing feedback from previous clinics, I’m so excited to be running this Intro Jump & Cross Country clinic at a brand new venue, Berry Riding Club. This is designed as a confidence-building progression day, the perfect first XC experience for horses and riders, all in a no pressure, supportive environment. You can look forward to a fun, educational day getting you and your horse out and about, first working over fences in the arena, then taking those skills out across undulating terrain, hills, and a variety of cross country obstacles. Suitable for heights 45cm–95cm, and ideal for green horses, or riders wanting to feel more secure, balanced, and confident. How the Day Works: > Morning – Show Jumping (1.5hrs) Focus on balance, position, rhythm, straightness & accuracy — building a strong foundation in the arena. > Afternoon – Cross Country (1.5hrs) Learn how to navigate and negotiate different XC obstacles, maintain flow, and build confidence out in the open. *Most riders choose to do both sessions to get the full benefit of the day, building confidence in the morning, then applying it in the afternoon.* > Small groups (max 5 riders) Lessons grouped according to confidence and experience, starting from inviting, confidence-building fences and progressing as appropriate. A great opportunity to learn through both riding and observation in a supportive environment. • Show Jumping only – $110 + $10 ground fee • Cross Country only – $125 + $35 ground fee • *Best Value* Full day (SJ + XC) – $210 + $35 ground fee Venue: Berry Riding Club Date: Sunday 24th May Limited spaces available Note: Further information (including group times and parking) will be sent after booking confirmation. No refunds after close of entry unless accompanied by a vet or medical certificate. Sessions may be adjusted based on group numbers. |
