If the class you would like to enter is full, please check the waitlist class- we will be shuffling any space left across the class numbers at close of entries & if we can accomodate you, we will. It will be prioritised in order of entry date.

Entries

• Entries via Global Entries Online
• Entries close 7 days prior to the event or when full
• Event open to PCAWA members, PCAWA Open riders, and EWA riders
• All horses competing under EWA must be registered

Fees & Levies
• Ground fee applies to all horses entering the grounds
• Medic fee applies to all entries (medics on site for the duration of the event)
• EWA levies apply to EA classes
• PCAWA series levies apply to Pony Club classes

 Series Information

Series rugs and prizes will be awarded for:

Age Groups
• 18 & Under
• Over 18

Height Divisions
• 45–65cm
• 65–85cm
• 85cm+

Series winners and place getters will be announced at the Championship Day of the Major Showjumping Festival.

Competition Rules

• PCAWA and EWA showjumping rules apply
• Draws and further event information will be available on Global Entries
• Riders must compete in draw order unless permission is granted by the committee

Horse & Rider Participation
• Horse and rider combinations may compete in two consecutive heights plus a novelty event
• Riders competing in multiple disciplines may only ride one showjumping round

 Helper Duties

Helper duties are mandatory
• Riders with multiple horses may be required to complete multiple helper duties
• Failure to complete helper duties may result in removal from series contention and/or refusal of entry to future events

Rider Attire

• PCAWA riders: Official Pony Club uniform and gear check required
• PCAWA Open riders Jackets and competition attire required with gear check
• EWA riders: Approved EWA competition attire

 General Conditions

• No dogs allowed on the grounds
• Please place manure in the poo pit and fill in any holes before leaving
• The EWA Hot Weather Policy will apply

The organisers reserve the right to:
• Amend or combine classes
• Change the program or reschedule the event if required
• Determine or amend prizes (including rugs) depending on entry numbers

All protests or scoring queries must be made to the organisers within 30 minutes of results being published.

Class Definitions

Special Two Phase (Art. 272.2.5 old / 222.2.3 new)
A two-phase class where:
• Phase 1 is not against the clock
• Phase 2 is against the clock

Accumulator (Art. 269c old / 229(iii) new)
• Each jump is worth points equal to its number (Jump 1 = 1 point, Jump 2 = 2 points, etc.)
• Difficulty increases throughout the course
• A Joker jump at the end is worth double points
• Points are awarded for clear jumps and deducted for rails or refusals
• Designed as a progressive height class (e.g. 60–80cm) with no combinations
• Full rules will be explained on the day

 Refund Policy – Event Fees

Before Entries Close
• Refunds may be approved by the Treasurer
• 10% administration fee applies
• Refund request must be received within 10 working days

After Entries Close
• Refunds may be approved if the event remains in profit
• Authorisation required from the OC and an Executive Committee Member
• 15% administration fee applies

To receive a refund after entries close, competitors must provide within 10 working days:
(a) A medical certificate stating the rider, immediate dependent, or adult supporter cannot attend
OR
(b) A veterinary certificate stating the horse is unable to compete

No refunds will be issued once the event has commenced unless approved in exceptional circumstances by the BH&PC Committee.
