Early Entry Code:- There will be spots available to assist with rails & setting up of courses over the duration of the show.  This will be via Global where it is first in best dressed for volunteering.   Conditions regarding receiving the EEC will be advertised.

Event Regulations and Guidelines

  1. All riders and owners must be members of the Equestrian Australia.
  2. All horses nominated must hold current registration and grading papers from the Equestrian Australia.
  3. Our event is run under the EV Constitution and as a condition of entry all riders, spectators and visitors are subject to these guidelines.

  4. Substitution of a nominated horse or rider may only take place within that nominated event and must be notified prior to the commencement of that event.
  5. Junior Rider Classes:- Horse and rider combinations are eligible to compete against open horses and riders with the exception of Specified Junior Classes. Thus Juniors can only nominate in either (a) or (b), but not both.
  6. World Cup nominated Horses must complete the first round of a competition of 1.30m or above at the current World Cup event prior to starting in the World Cup.

  7. LIABILITY. Neither the committee nor the venue owner nor any of the staff or agents shall be in any way liable for any accident injury damage loss or for any matter that may happen from any cause or circumstance whatsoever, to exhibitors competitors or members or their agents or to anyone on the grounds or to any animal exhibited or property brought on to the grounds for any loss claim matter circumstance or event whatsoever in conjunction with or arising out of or attributable to the Festival or any journey to or from the event.  It is also understood that in no circumstances shall the committee it’s agents or employees be liable for any loss damages claims or costs occasioned or suffered by any exhibitor, competitor members directly howsoever arising, including without limitation losses damages claims or costs as a result of any negligence, and you agree to indemnify and save harmless to the committee the venue owner or lessees, their agents employees from and against any liability out of such loss, damage claims or costs.
  8. Any protest must be made in writing and within 20 minutes of the event and accompanied by $50 non refundable unless protest is upheld.
  9. REFUNDS:-
  10.  - Prior to the close of entries, a refund will be issued less a $10 admin fee
  11. -After the Close of Entries - a refund will only be issues on the production of a Vet or Medical Certificate & will only apply to those named on either certificate, less a $25 admin fee. Any other entries not named will not receive a refund.  Must be received within 3 days of the conclusion of the Show.
  12. -There will be no refunds after the commencement of competition.
  13.  -Scratching's will only be accepted by e-mail to the Event Secretary

  14. The Committee reserves the right to refuse entries.
  15. Entries will not be considered accepted until all monies are cleared.  Competitors with Fees outstanding will not be included in draws and an invoice will be sent out for all fees owing PLUS 25% admin fee, unless prior arrangement has been made with the Event Secretary.
  16. Prize Money: All prize money is to be collected from the secretary's office prior to the end of the show.  Money below $400 is cash, above will be via Direct Deposit, account must be nominated.
  17. The Committee reserves the right to swab horses.
  18. The Committee reserves the right at their discretion to alter or amend any of the above conditions and to modify the program or cancel the event. NVSJC will make every effort to notify competitors at the earliest opportunity.
  19. Dogs must be on leads and secured at all times. No dogs are allowed in practice or competition arenas.
  20. If you have a yard booked, please use this allocated yard, unless checking first with the secretary's office if you need to move.
  21. No Yards are to be erected around power outlets, or interfere with power leads to these outlets.
  22. 1 x power outlet per site paid, any truck found to be using two or more power outlets will be required to pay an additional Powered Site Fee.
  23. Submission of an entry signifies acceptance of these regulations.

Best horse and rider combination, 21 and over, over the show whom holds a current financial membership with NVSJC and competes in Arena 1 (Grass) in official height classes.

The award is subject to disciplinary action both during and post the March show.

Any disciplinary action either by the committee of management or Equestrian Victoria results in forfeiture of the award post show. If the award is forfeited the award is to be held over to the next March show.
