Description

Jen Wood Showumping Clinic - Saturday 31st January and 1st February 2026

Jen is a Level 2 EA accredited coach and specialises in coaching and mentoring her students at all levels.
Jen competed successfully as junior and young rider representing Australia in the 2005 Youth Olympics.
She has competed up to Grand Prix level, and currently has a World Cup horse on the circuit.

Riders will be in groups of 3.
You will receive a 1 1/4 hr group lesson each day.
Clinic cost will be $155 per horse/rider combination which covers both days.

If numbers/classes allow we will include from Cross Rails and up.
Please email your height preference to gundagaihorsetrials@gmail.com and we will accommodate to the closest level.

* Saturday lessons commence at 8 am and on Sunday we will be starting at 7am.*

PLEASE READ BEFORE ENTERING TO BE SURE YOU CAN COMPLY TO THESE CONDITIONS.

ALL RIDERS MUST BE EITHER A CURRENT FINANCIAL MEMBERS OF PONY CLUB NSW OR EA TO RIDE FOR INSURANCE PURPOSES.

Please note official first aid will not be present so any rider who has a fall will not be allowed to continue riding. 

There will be no canteen.

Please note the following rules and regulations. Any fees caused by competitors' behaviour will be passed on to the competitor.

Camping and Stables

If wishing to camp or use stables then payment must be made as part of your entry. Camping is $25 per night and Stables/yards are $15 per horse per night.

Conduct and Cleanliness

During the hire period, the Hirer is responsible for the good conduct of its members and patrons. Any damages caused by the Hirer's members or patrons must be reported immediately. The cost of any repairs will be invoiced to the Hirer.

All areas used must be left in a clean and tidy state. If the areas are left in an untidy state, the Hirer will be charged a cleaning fee of $100 per area.

All manure, hay and rubbish must be picked up from all areas. Manure and hay is to be placed in the designated muck heap.

Stables must be left cleaned out.

Stable bookings must be made through global entries

Insurance and safety

I understand and acknowledge that horse sports are a dangerous activity and that horses can act in a sudden and unpredictable way, especially if frightened or hurt.

I understand and acknowledge that serious INJURY or DEATH may result from horse sport activities and in particular from events in which I participate. I agree that I PARTICIPATE at my OWN RISK.

I understand that by entering this event constitutes a complete and unconditional release of all liability of Gundagai Horse Trials, to the greatest extent allowed by law in the event of me and/or the children under my care, suffering injury or death.

In the event of an accident/incident or near miss an incident report form must be completed, signed and returned within 24 hours of incident. Incident report forms can be found at the office

Gundagai Horse Trials shall not be liable for the safety of any goods or equipment, or the loss of or damage to such goods and equipment.

Current Australian Safety Standards Approved safety helmets must be worn at all times whilst riding.

All persons handling horses must wear boots of solid construction.

Dogs must be restrained on a leash at all times.

All gates must be left as they are found.

Vehicles must proceed slowly.

Horses MUST NOT be tied to stable doors or arena walls. Stallions must not be tied up unattended at any time. Stallions must be identified at all times.

GHT will not be held responsible for damage to vehicles or loss of property.

Current standard helmets must be worn at all times while riding or lunging horses.

No horse is to be placed in a yard or stable without prior permission from GHT.

This is a Showjump Training Day NO person is allowed on the cross country course on training days.

Refunds

Full refund (less 5% admin fee) will be given for all scratchings made prior to entries closing. After entries close there will be no refunds. You will be responsilbe for finding someone to take your lesson.
