Description

WASJA SHOW JUMPING 

Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March 2026.

Sat Course walk 7.00am, 7.30am start  - beat the heat!!

Sun Course walk 7.00am, 7.30am start

Both rings on the grass

Scratching's after close of entries will incur a $30.00 admin charge and a vet or medical certificate to be supplied within 48 hours of the event completion.

All scratching notifications are to be emailed to washowjumping@gmail.com prior to the start of the nominated class(s). Late entries - Additional $5 per class

Dress: Official Show Attire Required for competition rounds. Smart casual for Training Rounds.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership for the year available through Global Entries under Clubs.  In order to get your discount of $5.00 per class (excluding training rounds) you must join first and get a membership number. 

Only EWA or members of WASJA are allowed to complete at WASJA shows

Pony Club members are welcome, however they will need to join WASJA or the EWA.

Please ensure that you have a minimum of a base registration for horses competing 1.04m or below as per the new EA ruling.

Horses competing in the 1.05m classes and above must be registered and have a current competition License.

CLASSES

Training Rounds – max of 3 rounds per horse/rider

Cost $22.50 per round, $2.50 start levy

Competition Rounds - Horses and Riders may do 2 rounds in Ring 1.

Competition Rounds - Horses and Riders may do 2 rounds in Ring 2.

Competition Rounds - Horses may only compete in one ring.

Competition Rounds - Horse may only compete in either a part A or Part B of a class.

All competitive classes can be used as Interschool Qualifiers.

Off The Track classes will require horses to be registered with a OTT passport.

STALLIONS

Stallions must clearly display a green disc at all times when they are on the grounds and abide by the stallion code of conduct. It is recommended that riders and handlers of stallions at shows be over the age of 17years; however, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to understand the full code of conduct for stallions at events.

FEES

EWA Start Levy $ 4 per competitive round up to a maximum of $24 per day

EWA Start Levy training Rounds $2.50

Ground fee $15.00 per horse per day

First Aid Fee $15 per rider per day

Helper Fee $50 per rider per show - Please read the below

When submitting your entry, please select either Sat or Sun for your Helper Fee, not both.

WASJA has implemented a number of helper duties which will see you have this fee refunded. Please select a duty when submitting your entry if you wish to have your fee refunded.

Stables to be booked directly with the State Equestrian center.  

 

REFUSED ENTRIES/ CANCELLED EVENTS: 

WASJA reserves the right to refuse any entry. 

WASJA reserves the right to cancel, suspend or postpone events due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The organiser's will endeavor to refund riders for unused class entry fees and return a portion of other fees when possible and as deemed appropriate. A $20 non-refundable fee will be retained regardless to help offset event costs.
