Entry Conditions for the WASJA Patrons Cup 17-19 October 2025

Please ensure that you enter each horse with the correct rider, do not enter an incorrect class and ask for the classes to be swapped.

Scratching's after close of entries will incur a $30.00 admin charge and a vet or medical certificate to be supplied within 48 hours of the event completion.

All scratching notifications are to be emailed to washowjumping@gmail.com prior to the start of the nominated class(s).

No late entries or entries on the day.

CANCELLED EVENTS: WASJA reserves the right to cancel, suspend or postpone events due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The organisers will endeavour to refund riders for unused class entry fees and return a portion of other fees when possible and as deemed appropriate. A $20 non-refundable fee will be retained regardless to help offset event costs.

DRESS

Only EWA or members of WASJA are allowed to complete at WASJA shows.

Official Show Attire Required for both rings. White or Beige jodhpurs.

Pony Club members are welcome, however they will need to join WASJA or the EWA.

Formal Pony Club uniform is allowed.

As of 1st July 2023, all horses competing 104 or below requires a base EWA registration. Please contact the EWA office for more information.

CLASS GUIDELINES - (Please read!!)

• Horses can only compete in either a section A or B of a class, not both.

• Horses competing in classes with heights of 1.05m must be registered with the EA and hold current jumping cards. All other horses to have a base registration.

• Maximum of 2 starts per horse per day.

• Off The Track classes will require horses to be registered with a OTT passport.

• Horses may only compete in one ring with the exception of horses competing in class (s) 105 and 1m/104.

Riders must compete in the order of the draw.

Protests will only be accepted within 30 minutes of final results being announced. Protest must be in writing and accompanied by a $50 non-refundable fee. The outcome of a protest as decided by Officials will be final.

Riders must be mounted presentations in competition attire or risk forfeiting their placing and prizes.

Mini Prix

Horse/rider combination may only compete in either the Mini Prix OR the Patrons Cup, not both.

Kalamunda Pharmacy Patrons Cup

Horse/rider combination may only compete in the Mini Prix OR the Patrons Cup, not both.

EquineWorld Pony Mini Prix

Open to Ponies 14.2hh or under and riders under 16 years. Height certificate may be requested.

STALLIONS

Stallions must clearly display a green disc at all times when they are on the grounds and abide by the stallion code of conduct. It is recommended that riders and handlers of stallions at shows be over the age of 17years; however, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to understand the full code of conduct for stallions at events.

FEES

EWA Start Levy $ 4 per competitive round up to a maximum of $24 per day

Ground fee $15.00 per horse per day

Helper/ First Aid Fee $30 per rider per day

Stables to be booked directly with the State Equestrian centre.
